#34 RichJens

Richard Jensen is inspired by the love of God and by the Word of God. He had many interesting things to say about love and how it endures.
This song, taken from the bible, 1 Corinthians 13, known as the love chapter, he has taken and made into a beautiful song that will have you singing and remember the words that describe real love.  The love of God is a love we do not understand but that we all long for.  We know you will enjoy our conversation today with this very wonderful man and his song he entitled, Love Endures.

LYRICS
LOVE ENDURES (1 Corinthians 13)

If I speak in tongues of men and of angels
But have not love, I am a noisy, crashing gong
If I have wise powers and understand all mysteries
But have not love, I have known nothing all along

Love is patient
Love is kind
It does not envy, nor boast with pride
It is not selfish
And is not rude
But rejoices with the truth

Faith and hope remain
But the greatest of them all is love
Love will sustain
And the greatest of them all is love

If I have all faith and move many mountains
But have not love, I am nothing at all
If I give away all of my possessions
But have not love, I have nothing at all

Love bears all things,
Believes all things,
Hopes all things,
Endures all things.

Scriptures from Interview
Psalm 144:3
3 O LORD, what is man, that You take knowledge of him?
Or the son of man, that You think of him?  (NASB)
It is amazing that God does care about every detail of our lives.  He knows everything about us and yet He still loves us.

God Is Love
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (NASB)
God is love and He calls all of us to love one another as well.

If we reacd Luke Chp 5 verse 11:31 . We get to know that this parable also speaks about Love Reckless Love of the Father towards His Son's reckless behaviour. Reckless behaviour is a sin and it doesn't care about the consequences or whom it hurts. Prodigal sons's reckless behaviour hurted His Father but when his son returns in his reckless love , he welcomes His son. God our Father loves us with a reckless love. Though we are reckless in our sin, He loves us abundantly , egregiously, ridiculously. So much so that He gives us what is most precious, Not a ring or a robe but His only begotten Son. He doesn't kill the fattened calf He sends the Lamb of God for the sacrifice. The lyrics of song say . If we speak in tounges of Man and angels but as no love than I am noisy ... Jesus biggest commandment to us is Love one another as you love yourself. Today we should adopt the nature of the Father in the parable we should welcome people with reckless Love who have lost in the way of life. Amen

Exhorting the scriptures about Love, through reading, in music, or sermons, or Bible study, this is a wonderful and a very needed fruit, so uplifting. I'm a christian, and it can be challenging when you are weak in faith to continue in love, scripture says iniquity abounds so love wax cold. There is so much iniquity, it is life and spirit to focus on God's love and his word, as his word say, when we love each other and have good works, this cause others to see God's love, and that causes them to glorify God, which is in heaven. Faith comes by hearing the word of God, Romans 10:17. Thanks I enjoyed this interview, exhortation, and I have been looking for an artist like Richard Jensen who can see the word of God and use it in their music. I heard "Teach me your way" a spiritual Psalm and song in my soul. I was looking up Psalms 143:10 in a song, and after much time the Lord helped me find "Teach me your way", a blessing. I like it because it's timeless, and the word of God tell us to pray without ceasing, and at the same time give thanksgiving, and this short powerful song does that. Praise God, for he is good and faithful!! Thanks for the works of love, and I love you all. Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.- Psalms 68:19
